Method before interpretation
Begin with the question the record can actually answer. Keep the exact wording, the jurisdiction, the access date and the product or claim scope together. If a field is absent, render it as “Not found in checked sources” rather than quietly completing the record.
The useful editorial move is to show the path from a claim to its source. A reader should be able to open the relevant excerpt in two actions, see what would change the status, and leave with a bounded next check. This is a research pattern, not a certification mechanism.
